What are the qualifications of your proofreaders?

We only hire the best proofreaders with the appropriate qualifications. Many of our proofreaders have Masters or PHDs in English or Writing and have at least 5 years of experience with proofreading, editing, and copy editing.

How do I place an order on your website?

Placing an order with eProofRead is very easy. You'll get started by creating a new order which will include letting us know the timeframe in which you need the corrected document returned to you. You'll then upload your document to our website, enter in some details about yourself, and then make payment. We'll take it from there and immediately get your document to one of our professional proofreaders.

Is the proofreading done by real people or by machines?

All proofreading is done by real human proofreaders who have years of experience proofreading and editing. There is no replacement for a real pair of eyes reviewing and correcting your document.

How do I pay for my order?

eProofread accepts most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We can also accept payment through Paypal. Corporate and governement clients can apply for net terms with eProofread and can pay by check, money order, credit card, or ACH.

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, our minimum order is $9.95. If your order is totals less than $9.95 it will automatically be increased to the $9.95 minimum.

How do you make changes to my document?

If you have submitted an MS Word file (.doc or .docx) our proofreaders will make corrections using the 'Track Changes and Comments' feature. If you have submitted any other type of file, our proofreaders will create a summary of their corrections and suggested changes in a separate document.
